LEV Testing
LEV Testing Is how you as an employer ensure your extraction systems are effectively protecting your employees from fumes and dusts potentially harmful to health.
LEV Testing must be carried out at least once every 14 months to ensure compliancy with COSHH regulation 9.
Health and safety laws insist employers must assess any hazardous substance that you use or create in the workplace to see if it is a threat to employees health.
If harmful substances are found to be present and you implement LEV extraction systems to control them then you must ensure they are kept in efficient working order. Here at Clean Air Solutions our LEV Tests will examine every part of your system to ensure that they are in working order and effectively controlling contaminants.
You should be able to provide us with commissioning data for any systems you have which outline their intended use and designed performance. However if this information is not available we will assess the control measure and use HSE guidelines outlined in HSG 258 to ensure your systems meet regulations.
All of our test engineers are P601 qualified and have appropriate industry experience.

Harmful to Health
Fumes and Dusts harmful to health can lead to serious health deficiencies and diseases. This is obviously devastating for the employee affected but also can be both financially and legally devastating for the employer that is why its so important to ensure your LEV systems are working correctly and have test reports to prove this.
